My Home Livingroom

Changed the colours on the wall, before there was magnolia on all the walls and this colour scheme was not appealing, it was hard to clean especially in a house with small children running around touching the walls with dirty fingers.

Each time you try to clean the paint would come off as result and this left patch marks in the walls.

We chose the cookie dough hard wearing silky paint because it is easy to clean and does not attract dirty so much.

The cookie dough is a specially designed paint that gives a stunning finish to the walls and it has excellent coverage that minimises imperfections creating the most contemporary look for walls and ceilings.

The fire place was closed off and the fire place front wall we painted it ivory cream colour to give contrast and to create a focal point.

Instead of leaving this wall bare we mounted the flat screen 50” Television and a glass shelf below to accommodate the sky box, cd, amplifier and blue ray player.

The bottom we selected a glass stand-alone stand where we displayed a few decoration items.

The furniture from sofa and display units are in black and grey mono chrome colours creating a symmetry look and this matches perfectly well with the wall colour scheme.

The curtains we used are floral hard wearing curtain which gives total closure and mounted on around pole with rings.

This curtain was fitted on a bay window but it has floral voile inside the bay window.

The light chandelier we selected matches the colour of the furniture and sofas and with this we used LED build as a way of energy conservation.
