Chipo's Flat

This project was to redesign a one bedroom flat concentrating on the living room. Before redesigning, the space was dull and not welcoming.

The space is only for one female occupier and the idea was to brighten up the space and bring about light and colour with more emphasis on the Afro colours as evidenced through use of the Marrakech Market colour.

Discussed with the owner the furniture type and curtains and in the end we selected white leather modern contemporary sofa with cushions to match the wall colour scheme.

The Marrakech is a warm colours scheme which reminds us of sunlight, sand, fire, heat and it adds personality to the space too as well as balancing well with other neutral soft furnishing colours and wall art.
